Certified Organic Since 2020
In the hills of Assisi, Villa Solana’s olive groves have been cared for using certified organic methods since 2020.
In Harmony with Nature
ur groves are nurtured without chemicals or heavy machinery. Skudde sheep naturally enrich the soil and help maintain the balance of the land.
Hand-Picked, Cold-Extracted
Each harvest, the olives are picked by hand and cold-extracted shortly after, preserving their freshness.
From Our Family to Your Table
Nothing added. Nothing taken away. Just Primino — organic extra virgin olive oil from Assisi.
In 2019, Marika and Thomas bought a home in Assisi, Umbria, surrounded by a stunning five-hectare landscape and more than 500 olive trees in need of care.
What first seemed like a farm soon became something much more personal. The olive trees felt like family, and with the help of Marika’s father, they began bringing them back to life.
Guided by local olive oil knowledge passed down through generations, the family slowly restored the grove and embraced a more natural, respectful way of farming.
What started as a restoration became a true family project. Together with their children and wider family, harvest time turned into a tradition filled with hard work, joy, and togetherness.
As the grove came back to life and production became more refined, the family began building something more than olive oil — they began creating Villa Solana as a brand. A brand shaped by tradition, guided by quality, and inspired by the desire to share a genuine taste of Umbria from their family to yours.
